TigerTrails has had a visible and verifiable positive impact on the Chichghat valley, its wildlife, and Tribal population. Through friendship with the local tribal, cattle grazing in the TigerTrails jungle has stopped and drastically decreased in the adjoining Tadoba forest. The TATR forest surrounding the Chichghat valley has grown thicker and denser. Smaller wildlife like Peafowl, Jungle fowl, Monitor Lizards, Hares, Partridges and Quails, which had almost disappeared, can today be frequently spotted or heard. Water table has risen from 32 feet to 10-14 feet.
